Who We Are Who We Are
Angels for Animals Rescue League is a non-profit 501(C)3 organization started in Elida, Ohio. We have a shelter for the incoming animals to get shots, spayed or neutered and any other testing that needs done. We try to get them housebroken and adoptable so they will be loving lifelong companions.
The shelter is open 1:00 - 4:00 PM Monday through Friday and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
Our low-cost spay/neuter clinic is open to the public and by appointment only. Please look the Spay 'n Neuter tab for more information.
Our goal is to eliminate animal cruelty and suffering in our area. We hope to find good, loving homes for homeless animals, educate the public on animal welfare issues, and start a spay/neuter campaign in our community to stop the pet overpopulation in our area.
Through your membership and support, you can help us meet these goals. Please join us in our crusade to help the homeless and neglected animals in our community. By working together we can end the needless suffering of these helpless animals.

Our biggest expense is dog food; we are currently spending $400/month. We are accepting 4Health brand dog food from Tractor Supply, Chicken & Rice, Lamb & Rice, and Puppy Formulas. A small
5 pound bag is $5 and would help SO much!

If you are interested in an animal, please e-mail angelsforanimals_gmail.com for an application. Prior to adoption, all of our animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heart worm or feline leukemia tested (if old enough) and come with 45 days of free health insurance.
Most of our dogs are owner surrenders or rescued from local dog wardens. Sometimes we rescue from puppy mills as well. We rescue the unwanted dogs that are not selling to pet stores or are not breeding anymore.
